A total weighing system for dump trucks weighs the entire upper structure of the vehicle. To do this, the dump truck is lightly pressed down, after which the weight beneath the tipping hinge and the lifting cylinder is measured.

Determining the net quantity using two weighings

An initial weighing is performed upon arrival at the site. A second weighing is performed after the goods have been loaded or unloaded. The difference between the two weighings determines the net quantity of the loaded or unloaded products.

The dump truck weighing system is a Class III weighing system that has been calibrated in accordance with European standards and is therefore suitable for commercial purposes. The recorded weights may therefore be used as the basis for invoicing your customers.
