Inspection and re-inspection of calibrated weighing systems
AE Van de Vliet holds the necessary certifications to inspect both NAWI and AWI weighing instruments. These inspections are valid throughout Europe.
- NAWI: non-automatic weighing instruments that require operator intervention.
- AWI: automatic weighing devices that perform the weighing process without operator intervention.
Re-inspections in Belgium and the Netherlands
AE Van de Vliet also holds the necessary certifications to re-calibrate NAWI and AWI weighing instruments in Belgium and the Netherlands. Periodic re-calibration confirms that the weighing system continues to meet the applicable requirements for accuracy and reliability.
Re-inspection of retail scales
AE Van de Vliet can also re-certify calibrated retail scales. These re-certifications are performed exclusively at our workshop in Turnhout.
